Why I love it:  Many times clients tell me at their planning meeting that they have heard that, for the very best portraits, they should stick to wearing neutrals. And while I do think neutrals can look lovely (especially white!) - and I have written a few blog posts praising neutral colored outfits; color should not be avoided! I am obsessed with color, in fact. Many of my lovelies have chosen color over the years, with unforgettable results. Here are just a few I ran across today in my image hunt. 

By the way - every time I choose images/kids to feature, I feel so uncomfortable because I don't want anyone to feel left out! I truly love you all dearly, and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by whose outfits I choose to feature. I'm probably overthinking, as I do. But just know, I love every single one of you - truly!
