• I have photographed over 1,000 seniors - and each of you is unique and valued by me as an individual human being with your own personality and story to tell. 

• I know you want to feel beautiful or handsome in your portraits, and that's exactly what I will do for you. In fact, that's my focus through the entire photoshoot. You may not actually put it into words to me, but I know. And I've got you.

• I believe that a senior portrait session should be fun! I laugh in the middle of sentences, I tease you (especially if you are a senior guy!). I may forget my words and just start gesturing and let you figure out what I am trying to say. I sometimes just stop to look and marvel at the beautiful place we are in.

• I may ask you 1,000 times if you are too hot or too cold or if your shoes hurt your feet. You will hear me complain about the humidity (several times!). When you can't figure out a pose, I may swoop in and Barbie-Doll or Ken-Doll you, moving your limbs around until you are in the pose. 

• I will follow you on Instagram well into your adulthood and will love to see you growing and thriving. I get attached to my seniors! Just so you know :)

• I am a student of portraiture and love to blend classic rules with modern elements so your images feel current today, and yet they will still look beautiful to you 20 years from now. 

• I care so much about quality: true-to-life color, flattering light, natural posing, and images that will age well.  But I care most about you having fun, loving your portraits, and feeling happy and relaxed in the process.
