Outfits: Casual!

Why I love it:  Lots of senior guys just do not want to dress up. Ever. Not even for senior portraits. And when a 17- 18-year-old guy is not comfortable (physically or mentally), it always shows in portraits.  Lately I have seen a trend among my clients of easy-going parents who are happy to let their boys wear clothing they are comfortable in for portraits. Or they negotiate and let the senior boy choose at least one of his own outfits, so there is a mix of dressed up and casual.

I appreciate that so much, and so do the guys. That's not to say that everyone needs to dress as casually as these boys, but if your guy is really against a button down, or pants, or a suit, all is not lost. Let that guy wear what he wants (within reason!) and let me take care of the rest. The portraits may just feel more authentic to who he is.
